West Virginia Invests Eligible!

Students in the Hospitality (Culinary) program may be eligible for the West Virginia Invests Grant. If you've been a West Virginia resident for at least one year and can meet the additional program requirements, the grant may cover the full cost of your tuition and fees*.

The only requirement for admission into the Hospitality (Culinary) program is that you have completed a high school diploma, GED, TASAC, or HiSET!

The Hospitality (Culinary) program is unique in that it's a WVU Potomac State College program offered only on the Beckley Campus. That makes our application process for this program a little different (but there's still no application fee).

To get started, you'll need to...

  1. Set up an account at the link below. This will give you access to the WVU System application.
  2. Select the Keyser campus to access the PSC application.
  3. Select "Hospitality (Culinary) - offered on the Beckley campus" as your intended major.
  4. Complete all the additional required information, and submit your application.

Send us your ACT/SAT scores (optional)

ACT and SAT scores are used to determine scholarship awards and for placement in math and/or English classes. Although they are not required for admissions, if you have taken the ACT and/or SAT, you are encouraged to send them to Potomac State College.

Complete the FAFSA

If you are interested in receiving financial aid or scholarships, be sure to file the FAFSA  as soon as possible. For reference, the WVU System code is  003827.
