Join us for Preview Day and get the scoop on what life is like as a Golden Bear, the ins and outs of the enrollment process and info on majors you can choose as a Tech student.
What is Preview Day?
An informational day for prospective students (high school juniors and sophomores) and their families, including a guided tour of WVU Tech’s Beckley campus and tons of useful info to give you a feel of what you can expect as a Golden Bear.
What can I expect?
- A presentation about Admissions and Student Life at Tech
- A guided campus tour, including tour of Residence Hall
- Free lunch in the Bears Den Dining Hall
- Opportunities to chat with admissions staff, learn about the enrollment process and have all your Tech questions answered
How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy!
Step 1: Click the date on the righthand side of the screen and fill out the required information.
Step 2: Check your email for an event confirmation. (Make sure it didn’t go to a spam folder!)
Step 3: Sit back and relax, and we’ll see you the day of the event. We can’t wait to show you around campus, and we know you’ll love it here!

Check-In (Life Sciences Building): 8:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Admissions Presentation: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Campus Tour: 10:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m.
Academic Fair (Carter Hall): 10:40 a.m. - 12:00 p.m
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Check-Out (Bear's Den): 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
